With Windows 10 there is no way via the gui or control panel, to set the amount of items that can appear in a given jump list.  Its pretty much limited to 10 items at any given time.  Well there is good news, as there is a registry hack that can enable many more, instantly.

All that is needed is to open the Registry Editor via Regedit and go to this key..

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

Now right click Advanced and create a new DWORD (32-bit) Value with name JumpListItems_Maximum and Decimal value something above 10, I have used 34 with success.

Now you will have expanded jump lists.  If you choose a really big value, this will likely generate scroll bars to see all of the items in the list.
